My Services

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working with individuals and couples experiencing difficulties such as depression, anxiety, trauma, or grief. My goal is to improve your connection with others as you navigate the feelings and emotions you are currently going through.

Who I Have Worked With

I have been working with clients since 2001 in a variety of settings. I have seen clients of all ages, including elderly and non-elderly adults, couples, young children and their families, adolescents and their families, and transitional-aged youth (high school and college age).

Education

I graduated with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from San Diego State University in 2005. I was licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS) as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in 2007.

Training

I am trained in emotion-focused therapy (EFT), specializing in couples therapy. EFT helps facilitate connections between couples. I have also been fully trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) by the Humanitarian Assistance Program (HAP) organization and have received training in the field of in-depth grief therapy at the San Diego Hospice. I am also an active member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT).
